This Privacy Policy explains how RB DesignTech (“RB DesignTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit rbdesigntech.com (the “Site”), interact with our AI voice and chat assistant, submit a contact or discovery form, or otherwise engage with us. This Policy is designed to meet the expectations of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), for visitors those laws apply to.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information you provide via our forms or the AI Assistant — e.g., name, email, phone number, company, and the content of your message.
  • Conversation data from the AI voice and chat assistant — including voice recordings converted to text, chat transcripts, and a summary of your inquiry, so we can follow up and improve the assistant's knowledge base.
  • Usage data — pages visited, time on page, referring URL, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address, typically collected via cookies or similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Communications you send us directly, such as emails or call notes.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested information or proposals;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the AI Assistant's accuracy;
  • Understand aggregate site usage and traffic patterns;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • With your consent, send occasional updates about our services (you may opt out at any time).

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: consent (e.g., non-essential cookies, marketing communications), performance of a contract (e.g., responding to a service inquiry you initiate), legitimate interests (e.g., securing the Site, improving the AI Assistant), and legal obligation where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — including our hosting provider, the third-party AI/large-language-model and voice-transcription providers that power the AI Assistant, and email delivery services;
  • Professional advisors such as legal or accounting firms, where necessary;
  • Authorities, where required to comply with law, protect our rights, or respond to legal process;
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a materially similar one.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. AI Assistant conversation summaries and contact-form submissions are generally retained for the duration of our business relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping, unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Your Privacy Rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to: access, rectify, or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it's used; request deletion; correct inaccurate information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As noted above, we do not sell personal information.

8. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy, including a consent banner that lets you choose between “Accept All” and “Necessary Only” before any non-essential cookie is set.

The Site and Services are intended for business audiences and are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

RB DesignTech operates from the United States with an engineering team based in India. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those of your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
